I partner with communities, government agencies and nonprofits to design affordable homes for all stakeholders and end users. Continually seeking creative ways of keeping initial and long-term costs down while not compromising our life styes. Also incorporation aging in place practices.
A tiny house is a type of dwelling that is smaller than a traditional house. The building codes states a tiny house is less then 400 square feet. It is designed to be compact and efficient, and can be on wheels or a foundation.
A tiny house on wheels (THOW) are small dwellings that are built on a trailer and can be towed by a vehicle. In general, THOWs cannot be more than 13’ 6” tall (road to roof peak), Exterior width of 8’ 6” and length of 40’ long (65’ including the tow vehicle, and 53’ max for the trailer) – before permits are required. Legal weight limits are less stringent, although anything over 16,000 pounds (including the trailer weight) becomes less practical as a more powerful tow truck will be needed.
I will start to create a Newsletter every 3 to 4 months to share new designs, detail, subjects that come by my desk that would be interest to my audience
I created ShackAway in 2009. My concept was to design and build small spaces in remote places. Than to use them as vacation homes for the family, friends and other guests.

Inspiration is an architectural consulting service to assist with giving the client a vision of what the existing home or existing work place could possibly become. I will provide ideas, design suggestions and design sketches of the numerous potential the place and space may have. From a limited budget to no budget. The intent of this information would help the client determine if this home or work place would work for them know and in the future.
I would set a day and time to meet the client at the home or work place. The client and I will walk around the home or work place and I would give the client recommendations and visions of what the space could be based upon modifications to suite the clients needs and wants. and the possible potential there could be. The client will leave the home or work place with a list of design suggestions and design sketches.
The fee for visiting the home or work place is $125 for an hour. The client and I may spend the time exploring the spaces. This fee includes the list of design suggestions and design sketches at the end of our visit. The client would have the option to continue with design suggestions and additional design sketches.
I would apply the "Inspiration" service fees towards future architectural services and or home inspections i
